(was it mentioned that she is somewhat younger in years - about 6).
boy and girl get apartment together.
boy and girl frequently profess love and admiration.
boy and girl acquire pet together.
boy and girl talk about future plans and meet each others families.
boy and girl travel together.
boy and girl get married.
boy and girl move to different city.
boy and girl move to second different city.
boy and girl split up due to intangible differences and changes in person, and (boy thinks) in no small part to meddling asshat with name that rhymes with "bony".
